Landlord tip

When selecting tenants intuition is useful, but not always reliable. Use a Tenancy Application form. Have every prospective adult tenant fill out a separate Tenancy Application form, not just the principle tenant. If you don't have one feel free to use ours, from 'Downloadable Forms' on the website. Thoroughly check each adult. Be careful when declining prospective tenants. You are not required to give a reason, and you are better off not to.

We are looking for short sharp 1 or 2 paragraph tips which will help us all. If we use your tip in a newsletter there will be a $20 gift in the mail in appreciation for your effort. :-)

BIG NEWS ! and we would love your input... We are currently working on a new facility where tenants can load and hold Tenancy Applications online. It will work like this...
- Tenants load tenancy application information online. They will then have lifetime membership and be able login and make adjustments to their details as circumstances change.
- Property managers will be able to search for a prospective tenants application from within TINZ. The form will be printable or if you wish to TINZ check the prospective tenant, TINZ will auto fill the relevant details from the Tenancy Application onto the Tenant Check page.
