- Check every adult tenant that you know will occupy your address as you don't know who had the tenancy in their name at the last address(es).
- When you issue a 10 Day Notice, lodge it on the website. If they have been vetted by another landlord or property manager at the same time, they might be ready to do a runner and/or we might have a new (prospective) address already recorded. We can also warn you if they are looking to move.
- You can always do a Veda Advantage Credit Check through T.I.N.Z, saving you the high yearly Veda Advantage registration fees, and also to identify other debts which might be of significance in your risk assessment of your prospective tenant(s). This website significantly upgraded on 01/12/05 to allow this direct access to their database. The results of checks against Veda Advantage's database are presented on-screen at the foot of any response from our system.
- If you get any response on our system and it has the creditor's(landlord/property manager's) name underlined - you can click on that with your mouse and it will automatically open your email program so that you can send an email direct to that person/company, who put the listing on our website, to ask them for more information about their listing.

As of 01/05/06 we introduced the ability for you to lodge an "Address Alert" (A Alert) so that if you want to be advised when/if your tenant has been checked by another landlord or property manager and has given another address you will be advised by email.
